A “crucial initiative”. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni described the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) as a “crucial initiative” on Wednesday.
- Speaking at the annual assembly of Confindustria, Italy’s leading association for manufacturing and service companies, she underlined Italy’s potential to play a decisive role in the project, launched a year ago, citing the strength and value of Italian businesses as key contributors.
Focus on the Med. During her address, Meloni reflected on her two years in office, noting that her administration has made the Mediterranean a central focus of its geopolitical vision.
